We have a theory and a concept for everything
Once an idea is accepted and taught, everyone believes it
It doesn’t matter that it doesn’t work
The only important thing is that everyone believes it works

It is almost impossible to change an accepted idea
Anyone who challenges the status quo is somehow anti-German
So we have an entire culture trying to find ways to exist
In a maze of dysfunctional archaic rules

We spend our whole lives walking around obstacles we have created
It never occurs to us to remove the obstacles
No, we have been taught to create another rule
To undo the damage caused by the last rule

This is unacceptable, after all life is about suffering
One is not supposed to be happy in life
Life is about doing things you have to do
Life is about struggle and work, work, work
If you are not working you are not a good person
If you have leisure time you must be ignoring some duty

There is always something to do in the quest for perfection
There is always a way to make more order
There is always something out of place which needs to be put back in place
There is always some ignorant, lazy person who needs to be taught the rules

When we do have time to sit down for a talk
We can talk of how we never have time to do what we want
We can talk of how we hate our jobs
We can dream of the next holiday
And we can feel confident that we are good people to suffer so much
